For individuals with RSD, ACT may involve accepting the reality of rejection and developing strategies to cope with the emotional pain that rejection can cause. 
  4. Interpersonal Therapy (IPT): IPT is a type of therapy that focuses on improving communication and interpersonal relationships. For individuals with RSD, IPT may involve developing skills to communicate more effectively and assertively, as well as strategies for managing the emotional impact of rejection or criticism in interpersonal relationships.
